Dwarka SUV Crash: Mother of 23-Year-Old Sahil Dhaneshra Demands Strict Action Against Minor Driver, Calls Incident ‘Criminal Activity’
Inna Makan, the mother of 23-year-old Sahil Dhaneshra who died in a tragic road accident in Delhi’s Dwarka, has demanded strict action against the minor allegedly driving the Scorpio SUV that collided with her son’s motorcycle.
Speaking to ANI, Makan termed the incident a “criminal activity” rather than an accident, alleging reckless driving and dangerous stunt behavior by the accused.
According to her, Sahil was on his way to office on February 3 when the minor driver, accompanied by his sister, was allegedly making social media reels while driving a Scorpio SUV at high speed.
“The speed at which the Scorpio was being driven is clearly visible in the reel,” she said. “He was driving in the opposite lane, came directly in front of a bus, and performed a stunt.”
She explained that Sahil looked to his right to check for space to maneuver, as an e-rickshaw was on the left side of the bus. During this moment, the Scorpio SUV allegedly rammed into his motorcycle before crashing into a roadside parked car.
Makan further claimed that the driver did not apply brakes even after the collision. The accident also left a cab driver seriously injured.
The fatal Dwarka SUV crash has sparked widespread outrage, with growing calls for justice for Sahil and stricter enforcement against reckless driving and minors behind the wheel.
